I like the new site.
Sad though that your (first) link to FAW is the Victorian and not NSW one.
This has been updated now Jan, thanks for your comment
I would like to purchase 2 copies of People of the Valley.
I have Zeny Giles’ “Caught In The Light”, I have just finished reading “Through The Valley” and would like to purchase a copy.
We’ll contact you through email to arrange it, Robyn.
Hello,
I entered a piece in Wood Brick Stone. I understand the closing date was extended and I wonder if you could tell me the outcome of the competition.
My piece was called ‘The Matriarch of Tomago House’
Any feedback about the work would be very much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Wendy
Hi Wendy,
Sorry but we don’t let people know the outcome of the competition until publication.
Hi Catchfire,
I met Wendy Borchers (a former ABC colleague) in Melbourne last week and she told me about a work she had produced (I believe) for Catchfire Press, titled ‘Halcyon Days at Channel 3′ . I wonder if you could tell me where I may get hold of that item please.
Doug Grant
Hi Doug,
Wendy’s piece “Halcyon Days at Channel 3″ is in the Catchfire Press compilation, “Wood, Brick and Stone”. It can be bought in Hunter Valley bookshops – Maclean’s in Hamilton and MacDonald’s in Maitland, for instance – or by contacting us directly through our email address: catchfirepress@gmail.com

Catchfire Press is not currently considering manuscripts for whole books from individual authors. Perhaps one of your stories would suit our current competition? Alternatively, you could think about financing the publication yourself, in which case we can help you produce the book through our Koel Koel label.
